about

The tracks included in this album were originally intended to be used in an educational 8bit indie game. The game would have incorporated classic RPG elements such as battling enemies, leveling up, and exploration however there was a unique twist which was the teaching of written Japanese to the player. As the player would have progressed through the game, they would encounter more difficult lessons and challenges necessary to progress further. Unfortunately that game has been long cancelled due to many unforeseen circumstances.

By the time the game was cancelled, I had already created more than half of the soundtrack. Rather than cancelling the project entirely, I have finished every track that was planned to be in the game and even more, which is now available to purchase as a full length album. Please bear in mind every track was originally intended to be playable in game-form and therefore each track is intended to be listened to looped continuously. This can be done in iTunes by navigating: Control > Repeat > One. The album can also be listened to non-looped although some transitions are better than others using this method of listening.

I still feel bad that these tracks have not been used for their intended purpose, so I give anyone who buys this album full permission to use them in any projects that they create as long as the following conditions are met:
1) All use of the songs must be credited to 'chafos.'
2) The songs may not be resold in any way.
This includes your own game, videos, vlogs, websites, Audio books of the Bee Movie, YouTube videos, etc.

Anyways, I sincerely hope you enjoy this album in whatever way you want to. It means the world to me that anyone even listens to my music and I believe that this includes some of my best compositions ever. Ciao-Fos~!
